Three Girls. Three Strokes. One Dream.
Join us for an unforgettable evening in Cardiff, bringing young stroke survivors together.
Our Story
Nia is a singer. Cari is a former teacher and now assesses autism in children. Mez is a former dancer.
Three different backgrounds. Three different paths. But in our twenties, we all experienced something that changed everything, a stroke.
A stroke doesn’t just affect older people. It doesn’t discriminate. And when it happens in your twenties, it can turn your whole world upside down overnight. Our careers, our independence, our plans for the future. all suddenly looked very different.
Recovery hasn’t been easy. There have been setbacks, frustrations, tears and moments where everything felt impossible. But there have also been moments of strength, determination and hope. And through those ups and downs, something incredible happened.
It brought us together.
Life After Stroke is Full of Possibility
What started as shared experiences has turned into friendship, support and a mission much bigger than ourselves. We know how isolating stroke recovery can feel when you’re young.
We are creating an event in Cardiff this October for young stroke survivors. A space where people can meet others who truly understand. A place to share stories, celebrate resilience, build friendships and remind each other that life after stroke is still full of possibility.
But it isn't just for survivors, it’s open to everyone. Friends, family, people touched by stroke, and anyone who wants to join for a party are all welcome to come and celebrate with us!
Help Us Make It Happen
Funding will help us secure the venue, create an accessible and welcoming space, and ensure we can bring together as many young stroke survivors as possible for a day of connection, support, and inspiration.
If you can donate, no matter how big or small, you will be helping create something truly meaningful.
“I understand. I’ve been there too.”
